What a joy-filled first day back at toddlers! We loved welcoming familiar faces and brand-new little ones too! Our team did an amazing job stepping into their roles with such love and care. This week, many teachers, support staff, janitors, cleaners and pupils will return to school. Weโd love to invite you to join us in prayer for them.
โDear Jesus, we thank you for everyone involved in the schools lives of young people. We pray that this year we will see young people and staff be bold in love and kindness to one another.
We pray for those who are transitioning to new school environments. Lord we ask will you connect people together; will friendships be formed and will young people and staff look out for one another.
Lord we ask for your peace to flow in the school corridors, for joy in the playgrounds and for clarity, wisdom and kindness in the classrooms.
We pray for those who will go into schools to share your love, whether thatโs youth workers, children, ministers, teachers or parents; we ask will you fill them with your spirit; will they be people who stand up for those without a voice and will you guide them to lead with love. So Lord Jesus will you go with all who cross over our school gates this year. We trust you with our schools and we pray will you come and have your way. In Jesus name; amen!โ

Today we continued our โGenerosityโ teaching focussing on Acts 4:32-35.
๐๐ป Lord we are asking that you will make us more generous as individuals & as a Church as we are filled & prompted by the Holy Spirit.
๐๐พ Expand & grow every heart to worship You with our whole lives.
๐๐ผ May Your grace be powerfully at work in ALL at EBC, not just some.
๐๐ป May Your spirit of generosity abound in every conversation, deed, act of service & leadership as well as our financial giving back to You.

We also took time to thank God for all He did through our Kids Holiday Club last week and honoured the team who were led so well by Julie & Stuart.
